“A big source of my inspiration is my wife, Lindsey, and my daughter, Bandit, and my band. They’re my best friends and my brothers and they really inspire me.” — Gerard Way.

When the number of people that’s coming to your shows increases, the number of people waiting outside afterwards increases. Sometimes you can’t do it because it’s not safe. It’s really all about the safety of the kids. Sometimes you’ll go out there and kids will start rushing towards you or start climbing on top of each other and it’s a situation where people can get hurt. Venue security and our guys assess whether it’s safe to go out but we still do it as much as we can because those are the people that support us and keep us going. Without them we’re nothing. - Mikey Way

Dungeons & Dragons, anyone?
- Interviewer: What Dungeons & Dragons character do you play as?
- Gerard: I can tell you exactly. A half-elvin ranger, specializing in bows and longswords. And I always wear a hooded cloak.
- Interviewer: Your character wears one, or you physically wear a cloak when you play?
- Gerard: Hahahaha. My character... and studded leather armor. Because you need to protect yourself.
- Interviewer: I think that'd be a good look for you. Maybe it's a concept for the second record -- "My Chemical Romance goes Kiss."
“I hope the listeners really sit with this record and let the record take them on this journey. I think that when you listen really closely, you come out with a huge sense of hope and feeling to just go out and live your life as if today were your last, and live ever second to the fullest. That’s what I hope.” — Frank Iero.
